Dukan cottage cheese potato cake. Potato cake according to Dukan for the “Alternation” stage

Beautiful, aromatic, crispy, tasty - you can endlessly sing the praises of this “Dukan potato”. A great appetizer for a party and a great side dish for a protein-vegetable day. In fact, such a dish can be made from any permitted vegetable (celery root, carrots - it all depends on the season), but pumpkin makes it the tastiest!

So, take any pumpkin. Remove the skin, peel out the core, and cut into bars like French fries. Rinse with cold water and dry well with a towel. Then put it in a container with a lid, sprinkle with spices, close and shake well. Those who are especially daring can add a teaspoon of olive oil, but I don’t risk it and do it without it. It still turns out very tasty.

Two amazing recipes that I want to recommend to you:

  • Spicy “Dukan fries” are obtained by sprinkling vegetable blocks with coarse sea salt and rosemary.
  • Spicy "potatoes" can be made using ground chili pepper, paprika and salt.

After shaking, place the cubes on a baking sheet lined with parchment. So that the bars, if possible, do not touch each other, otherwise the crust effect will not work.
Then it all depends on your oven. It’s great if it has a “convection” mode or, more simply put, blowing hot air. Preheat the oven to 180 - 200 degrees, place a baking sheet and turn on convection. We're watching.

As soon as the bars are browned, turn them off. It’s important to eat the “potatoes” right away; after standing, they will become limp.

The recipe is wonderful for vegetable days, from the Alternation stage onwards.
You can come up with different options for sauces. I prefer "tomato paste - oregano - basil - salt" or "low-fat yogurt - garlic - salt." Bon appetit!

The biggest difficulties for those losing weight at the “Alternation” stage arise in connection with the complete lack of desserts on the menu and a variety of goodies. This stage is quite long, and if at the “Attack” stage it was easy enough to withstand 3-7 days without sweets, then at this phase the risk of “failure” increases many times over.

Quick navigation through the article:

We have already written recipes for desserts that are suitable for purely protein days in the “Attack” phase. These same recipes can be safely also be used during protein days at the “Alternating” stage. In this article we will talk about what other desserts you can prepare from the products available at this stage. It is also worth noting that at this stage some are allowed, such as corn starch, olive oil, 3% sour cream, etc.
