In my profession it turns out that talking about my problem on television is to my detriment. For example, my eldest 12-year-old daughter Sonya really wanted to get into the entertainment program “Big Little Star”, which is hosted by Nikolai Baskov on STS. They didn’t take her because of her disabled sister, they say, everything is rosy and everyone in the program is happy, but the image of our family does not fit this positive. Of course, they didn’t talk about this directly, but in fact it turns out to be discrimination.

– Your mother Elena Leonidovna used to think that it was necessary to abandon Agatha. Has she changed her position now?

- No! She never even saw Agatha, never came to visit us, these problems do not concern her. There is no one to help us: my father died, Natasha’s mother died tragically six years ago. Last year, her father also passed away; my father-in-law accidentally spilled alcohol and burned to death. He lived with his wife, she was burned, but survived, and he could not get out of the burning apartment, since he had suffered a stroke shortly before.

– Elena Leonidovna said in an interview that by taking on the burden of caring for Agatha, you will abandon your eldest daughter Sonya. Do you have enough time for it?

– She studies at the Moscow State Choreographic School named after Lavrovsky, where, in addition to general education lessons, they also have ballet classes and piano playing. I hope that my daughter will be a ballerina, at least she really likes it there. It seems to me that this profession is very suitable for a girl. Ballet training takes place every day, she prepares enthusiastically for it, and sews her own ballet costumes. In order to take Sonya to classes, we were forced to move together to the center of Moscow, to Taganka, while my wife Natasha and Agata remained to live on the outskirts of the city. The distances are long, and to get to school early in the morning would take a lot of time, given the Moscow traffic jams. For the weekend we come to Natasha and Agatha. Every morning Sonya wakes up at 7 am, first does a warm-up, then we have breakfast, and I take her to school.

– How does Sonya feel about her younger sister?

– My daughter was really looking forward to the birth of her sister, and now Agatha is lying like a bar. He will come up to her, stroke her - and that’s it. Agatha needs constant care; she cannot walk, talk, and has no sucking reflex. She doesn’t recognize me, Natasha, or Sonya; Agata has been blind since birth. She is like a flower in a pot, a living body, but without a soul, without emotions.

– More than a year and a half has passed since you learned about your daughter’s medical verdict. After this time, the decision that you made when the doctors suggested leaving the child in state care also remains the only correct one for you?

– In the wild, weak individuals do not survive, but in the human environment we must understand that there are different forms of life, each has the right to exist. If nature ordered it this way, then we have no right to make our own verdicts. My task in this situation is to take care and do everything possible so that my daughter can live. After she was born, my brain rebooted. I stopped drinking, swearing, and smoking, although I was addicted to cigarettes for 30 years, sometimes smoking several packs a day. Now I understand that if all this shortens my life, then who will take care of Agatha! I also realized that in this world we are just fleeting guests for whom a short period is measured. There is no point in being an asshole, life is very short.

– I stopped believing... More precisely, I never even believed! I consider religion to be the opium of the people; in this regard, I agree with Ilf and Petrov. – Your reasoning somehow disagrees with the fact that almost immediately after birth you christened Agatha.

– Natasha’s mother really wanted this, I was initially against it! You can’t even imagine what my brain experienced in the first six months after I learned about my daughter’s illness.

– Is it good that there was a reboot?

– Of course, it would be better if all this did not happen! But this is a life lesson, we all live to learn. So I'm grateful that I had to learn this hard lesson. In my opinion, the only thing a person has is the right to choose. I made it for myself and realized that when life offers a certain situation, you don’t have to panic and beat your head against the wall, you have to accept everything as it is and try to do something about it. A person who does not change is doomed to terrible problems, and those who give up fear and are ready to move on find it easier. You become different, and your quality of life changes - you stop drinking, stopping smoking, thinking differently.

– Does the state somehow help you in the rehabilitation of a disabled child?

– It turns out like this: for my money they crippled a child (the singer’s wife was observed in a private clinic in Moscow, despite this, the birth was very difficult, as a result of which the child was born with cerebral palsy. - Author), and now I no longer have enough funds, to treat my daughter in a country with so-called free healthcare. In theory, of course, it was possible to give birth for free, but since my wife’s first birth was also difficult, I wanted to protect her and do the best. Moreover, I had the experience of being in a state medical institution. A couple of years ago I was poisoned, ended up in the hospital, there were cockroaches crawling on me, nurses openly sent me - it was complete chaos. Therefore, I wanted the best for my wife, but alas...

Now the state pays us 10 thousand rubles a month for disability, and we are also entitled to free parking in places for the disabled. True, they are constantly busy with someone unknown. Moreover, Natasha and I are native Muscovites, attached to the clinic, and not once in a year and a half did the local pediatrician come to examine Agata.

The only one of my colleagues who helped me was singer Andrei Kovalev. For a whole year he paid for daily visits to an osteopath, who worked with his daughter, since she had cysts in her spine and her head was not growing. One such lesson cost 6.5 thousand rubles. Now he has run out of money, all the positive effect that was achieved has gone down the drain, since such classes must be carried out for at least three years. We are also faced with the fact that in Moscow there are practically no specialists who know Voita therapy (a method of treating infants with cerebral palsy by activating motor reflexes. - Author). If such specialists exist, then only in private centers. One lesson costs 5 thousand. In our country, pediatric neurology is practically not developed in free hospitals. All procedures for the treatment of children with cerebral palsy are paid. Agatha also needs acupuncture, mud therapy, and special vitamins that cannot be bought in Russia; they must be ordered in America at crazy prices.

– But in our country there are rehabilitation centers for patients with cerebral palsy, why don’t you go there?

– It’s like the situation with charitable foundations – they seem to exist, but in reality they don’t help. Do you know what they do in these centers with such children? They prescribe a huge number of drugs that simply finish them off! They live there for two or three years. Many babies with cerebral palsy do not have a sucking reflex; they have a catheter inserted into their throat, and it is not changed for two or three days. The most they do in these rehabilitation centers is ultrasound and MRI. I realized that no one needs healthy people, but billions can be made from sick people.

– Alexander, you are a famous singer, you probably make good money at concerts, you recently got into the meat business. Why don't you send your child for treatment abroad?

– You know very well that due to the crisis the number of concerts has been reduced to a minimum. I opened my business recently, so far you only need to invest in it, and the return will only be in a couple of years. I called, for example, clinics in Israel - there 100 thousand euros only for initial examinations and examinations, in Germany - 250 thousand euros.

– What predictions do the doctors give about Agatha’s future life?

- They say that she will never be able to walk, talk or see. It is possible to radically change something in her condition only in the first three years of her life, so right now our family needs help. So I wanted to ask the stars to take a photo with a call for help for Agatha, it turned out that no one cared about this, everyone was busy. While I was in the charts, everyone greeted me and talked to me, but now I turned out to be of no use to anyone. I say so angrily because it’s boiling! Nobody here likes the truth.

“I wasn’t going to announce this collection, but my washing machine broke down, and I can’t live without it. Agatha’s mouth is watering, the rugs on which she lies with her face need to be washed constantly,” Natalya admitted in the “Coming Out to People” program. - I am very upset for the child that such a betrayal occurred. I can’t imagine how you can leave her without care, without affection. He says that she doesn’t hear, doesn’t sit, doesn’t move, like, guys, she doesn’t need me at all. I think this is his way of trying to justify himself because he wants to arrange his life.”

The singer himself does not hide his irritation towards his ex-wife. He is sure that she is asking too much instead of coping on her own. Fadeev also made it clear that he helped Agatha enough by attracting public attention with his star status alone.
