Gift box pencil drawing. How to draw a New Year's gift on a graphics tablet? How to draw a gift with a pencil step by step

In order to draw a gift, it is very important to first draw a cube. It has four faces. After drawing it, you can finish drawing a beautiful wrapping package on it or a ribbon with a bow. It always looks spectacular and bright, especially if such a drawing is painted with bright colored pencils of New Year's shades or using paints.

Materials for drawing a New Year's gift:

  • free sheet of paper in the album;
  • pencils for sketching and coloring;
  • eraser to remove;
  • black marker for stroke.

How to draw a gift box in stages

1) Draw a vertical line. We draw side lines at an angle from the top and bottom points.

2) Then add two more vertical lines to form the edges of the box containing the New Year's gift. We will also draw the last fourth corner, which is located in the background.

3) Draw a circle at the top, in which a lush bow will be drawn to decorate the gift. Draw satin ribbon lines on all sides of the box.

4) Draw a gorgeous fluffy bow in the middle of the circle. We lead two short strips of ribbon from the center of the bow. We create the edges of the box without sharp corners, and also create the lines of the ribbon smooth on all parts of the picture.

5) We get a beautiful drawing of a gift that needs a neat stroke with a black marker and paint over with colored pencils. The first is done right now. You can also add small strokes and highlights on objects.

6) We paint over satin ribbons and a chic bow with a red pencil, which serve to decorate a New Year's gift.

7) The box in which the gift is placed is created with green shades of pencils.

Everyone loves gifts, and whoever says he does not, secretly buys them and gives them to himself. Winter is a paradise for gifts of different sizes and purposes. It is in winter that you will spend more money on gifts than you could have spent not on gifts. And if you are a child, then you are in paradise at all, since you don't even need to do anything, only there is no one to write a letter and give it to mom or dad without a fuss. And here we find out how to draw a gift with a pencil. After all, there is a good excuse: the best handmade gift.

A gift is something dressed in paper that often provokes attacks of happiness, fear, bewilderment and various premonitions. In addition, the gift can be completely intangible, such as hitting a bag of potatoes from around the corner or a free trip to the Caribbean for. More often than not, the gift is of no value, and its vocation is to give pleasure from observing the reaction of the one who received it. It is best to give a gift that you can use yourself later (racist Jewish saying). Better yet, give food, because according to the unwritten laws of God, there is a 98% chance of sharing such a gift with you. A gift is also a way to raise your status, as effective as the most expensive invisible cowards in the world or an uncharged magic wand. And lovely women know a lot about gifts. They do not clearly know what they want, but they are sure that others should know it.

What can you give, unusual gifts:

  • Your place in the cemetery;
  • Your phone or wallet (sometimes they are taken by force);
  • A box of air (although it is better not to give such a creative gift to someone who cannot appreciate the beauty of this gesture);
  • Tagged money (to bribe-takers);
  • Licensed software (for computer specialists);
  • CD with a set of the best thug of the 90s (cool guys on);
  • Venereal diseases;
  • Car (economic option: washing or sewing machine);
  • Give warmth and joy (recommended by doctors for loved ones);
  • What gifts do you usually give? Replies to the comments!

In the meantime, I'll show you drawing instructions.

How to draw a gift with a pencil step by step

Step one. I see no reason to comment on what is happening. I think that everything is clear from the pictures.
Step two.
Step three.
Step four.
Step five.

Not a single holiday is complete without the most important thing - gifts. What can we say about the New Year? This is one of the biggest holidays when everyone is busy looking for gifts for family and friends. Whatever the chosen gift, it must be beautifully wrapped. Packages come in various types, sizes and colors, but today we will focus on the familiar box with a beautiful bow. We will find out how to draw a gift for the new year and to make the composition look more attractive, we will decorate it with a spruce branch and two balls.

Tools and materials:

  1. Graphic tablet and pen (used Wacom Intos Draw, but any will do) connected to a computer or laptop.
  2. Adobe Photoshop program.

You can also use a simple pencil, eraser, and piece of paper.

Stages of work:

Step 1. Create a new surface in Adobe Photoshop: File - New. Set the dimensions of the new document in pixels: width - 850 pixels. and height - 595 px. This will create a white surface on which we will draw our illustration. For the brush, set the main diameter to 5 and the color to dark gray:

Step 2. We draw a rectangle from which we will build on when building a gift. Its width will be slightly larger than its height:

Step 3. Draw a vertical line through the center, which is shifted slightly to the right:

Step 4. Now you can draw the sides of the gift and its box, but draw only the foreground. Leave the background blank for now, because there will be a large bow that will cover it:

Step 5. Let's delete with an eraser the lines that helped in the construction. Now we don't need them:

Step 6. We outline the general lines of the bow on the gift, and a ribbon will hold it on the sides:

Step 7. In front we will draw two circles - Christmas tree decorations, which will touch inside. We will not finish the circles a little, in order to add later in this place of their attachment (Christmas tree decorations):

Step 8. On top of the Christmas balls we will draw the fasteners, and on the bow we will draw the bends of the ribbon:

Step 9. In the background, we will place the branches of the Christmas tree, so now we outline their bases (from which the needles will grow):

Step 10. Decrease the main diameter of the brush from 5 to 3 and draw in small needles. They should be slightly curved towards the edge. The strokes need to be applied very tightly to make the branch more fluffy:

Step 11. We correct the drawing by removing unnecessary lines where they are not needed and adding in places where they are lacking:

Step 13. Make the gray tone a little darker and apply on top, but this time the shadow volume will be less than the previous one. This change in tone will help make the shadow transition smoother:

Step 14. Make the tone darker again and apply it to our drawing:

Step 15. The next step for applying shadow will be from a darker gray tone, and place it all on a smaller surface:

Let's complicate this task a little. In order to teach you to really feel and control this empty flat piece of paper, I want to open up complex but interesting objects for you - empty boxes.

1. So, draw a cube.

2. Then draw two slightly slanted parallel lines.

Parallel lines Are two lines going in the same direction and located at the same distance. When I say the word "parallel" I am representing 2 lines in one word.

Perpendicular lines - two lines that intersect at right angles. For example, on this line, you see text perpendicular to the edge of this page.

3. ATTENTION! See how this top edge of the box lid is drawn, in accordance with all the oblique lines with a slight upward slope to the left. I will refer to this angle as northwest direction. Imagine a compass.

The four most commonly used directions that I will refer to throughout the tutorials will be northwest, northeast, southwest, and southeast. Take a look at this compass.

Now I will turn the compass over. Again, perspective distorts and flattens the object, creating the illusion of depth, bringing one edge of the object closer to the viewer.

Notice this drawn tilted compass and the four directions shown — NW, NE, SW, and SE — all of these lines align with the lines of your cube.
I call this the "3D compass". This is a wonderful tool for correctly sequential line alignment. Without well-formed corners, your drawings will look askew.

4. Draw a lid on the other side of the box using two parallel lines.

5. Using the bottom line of the box in the CB direction, draw the top of the box lid in the same direction (CB).

6. Draw oblique lines for the box flaps at the front and bottom.

7. Once again, using the bottom edges of the box as guides, complete the box lids by drawing lines in the NE and NW directions. I will repeat this over and over again: use the drawn lines as a guide to draw the following. Always referring to the already drawn 3D compass angles, your drawings will look solid, focused and most importantly, three-dimensional.

8. Draw short protruding lines for the back of the box. Notice how one small line affects the overall 3D illusion of the drawing. This little line on the back of the box makes "BAM!" and at this moment our drawing transforms from a 2D sketch into a 3D object.

9. Draw the horizon line and position the light source.

10. To correctly draw the falling shadow, use the 3D compass. Draw a guide line along the bottom of the box in the SE direction. ATTENTION! This is the most common mistake beginners make - they start dropping the shadow below the guideline. Please note that the shadow should be in line with the guide.

11. Darkening under the two lids of the box give reality to the image. These are wonderful little details that successfully showcase volume, refinement and boundaries. In this example, these shadings help pull the caps out towards the eyes, pushing the box deeper into the picture.

12. This is the most effective step in every lesson. Clean up your sketch with an eraser to remove any extra lines and sharpen the edges of the drawing with a stroke. This will move the image away from the background. Complete the drop shadows on the left side of the box and inside the box, away from the light source.

I always urge you to have some fun along the way by adding lots of extra details, neat little ideas that your creative imagination can do to bring the drawing to life. I put a few small items in the box so they are barely visible. Notice how even these small details add flavor to the sketch.

LESSON 5: PRACTICE EXERCISE

Speaking of additional details to enhance your drawing, let's modernize the lesson with a cardboard box? How about a treasure chest overflowing with pearls and coins? We are so unhappy with today's economy, mortgage payments, loans and taxes .. So let's portray our own wealth!

1. Start with a basic cube shape, just tilt the sides slightly. Now mark the guide lines and label them for better memorization.

2. Draw two parallel lines, slightly opening the lid of the treasure chest.

3. Using the lines already drawn as a guide (sounds familiar?), Draw the top edge of the lid in a northwest direction.

4. Now draw the near, curved edge of the lid.

5. Using the lines already drawn (am I repeating myself?) Draw the top edge of the lid towards the northwest, but slightly lower. This is necessary so that, ultimately, all these lines of the same direction converge at one point. I will explain this vanishing point concept in great detail in one of the following tutorials. For now, just repeat after me and tilt your lines a little lower.

6. Now draw two inner lines. This is our "BAM!" 3D effect, you must like this moment!

7. Diversify your drawing. Erase all unnecessary lines, place the light source and shade the opposite surface, the inner side of the chest and add a drop shadow. Enjoy drawing additional details. Fill your chest with money, gems, pearls and whatever your heart desires!
