Seemingly ordinary shoujo with handsome characters, cutie the main character and an indispensable happy ending, which threatens to overtake the heroes in the next one or two hundred chapters ... But I was very impressed with the "Princess".
I watched the anime, and then read the manga with pleasure.
Firstly, Shirayuki is not only fabulously beautiful and kind, she is also quite smart. Such a nice girl, the only thing that annoyed me a little was her endless constant embarrassment for any reason, but over time I came to terms with this "feature".

But seriously - a very boring sight. First of all, because it is extremely problematic to understand what the series is all about. It seems that someone is being killed, arrested, deceived, and it seems that heroes are harmlessly and serenely nibbling the grass around the clock, and chatting with their comrades, walking back and forth. It seems that it is not so easy to get close to the crowned persons, but it seems that the first person you meet with a little effort can get the coveted pass to the castle, just by looking at the prince ... It seems that we are here about romance, but it seems about the responsibility of the ruler for every word and gesture ... Like that you need to work continuously to achieve your goal, and like about some kind of operetta affairs of the nobility, revealed once or twice ("monsters of the week" are direct some).

In short, it all looks like kindergartendiluted with inappropriate cruelty and an attempt to make drama from scratch. In addition, with a minimum of romance and understandable feelings, motives, actions, but with tons of random dialogues, scenes and "plot twists" that are tortured out of your finger.
It was especially difficult to look at it in contrast with the last released analogs (purely romantic "Soredemo sekai" and adventure "Akatsuki no Yona") - the subject did not even come close to them with any of its components.

I don’t know what’s in the manga, and I don’t want to know in principle, because in addition to the zero stories and atmosphere, there is not even a single character that is really revealed, except for the main couple, which, alas, is unremarkable, and not particularly cute (the difference between the images that the authors THOUGHT to make for them and those that turned out ON THE FACT is too huge). Yes, perhaps this is the fault of the filmmakers entirely, but we're talking about the film adaptation here.

It's not at all happy when they try to get on with something. If the idea was to make a story about the complexities imposed by differences in the social status of the characters - this was not the way to shoot. If there is talent and ingenuity only for the next naive shedzhe-fairy tale, then it was not at all necessary to make accents so that the viewer would not turn on their brains once again, but simply sat and be touched.
